Vaping Tanks

A vape tank is a component of a vaping device that holds the e-liquid and houses the coil. It typically consists of a reservoir for the e-juice, a drip tip (or mouthpiece) for vapor to travel through, and airflow control. The coil inside the tank heats up the e-liquid, producing vapor for inhalation through a mouthpiece.

RDA (Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer) requires manual dripping of e-liquid onto the coil and wick directly. It offers customizable builds but needs frequent dripping. RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer) has a tank to hold e-liquid, offering convenience without frequent dripping, but requires building coils.

 "Sub ohm" vaping (aka sub-ohming) is when the coil in your vape tank or pod has a resistance of less than one ohm. What does that mean? Well, it usually leads to more power and bigger clouds of vapor compared to regular vaping. Experienced vapers who really love those thick clouds and strong flavors often go for sub-ohming. In the past, sub-ohming was a bit more dangerous, as it was extremely important to know about battery safety and required a good understanding Ohm's law to make sure you're vaping safely. With the introduction of the pre-made coil, those worries are mostly things of the past! It is still VERY IMPORTANT to have a good understanding of 18650 battery safety, but mods nowadays have built-in ohms readers and safety switches that prevent a coil from drawing to much power from the battery.

A pod tank is a cartridge-style tank that typically attaches magnetically or via a click-in mechanism to the device. It's compact and often pre-filled or refillable with specific e-liquid. A 510 tank refers to a standard tank using a 510-threaded connection, offering more versatility and compatibility with various devices. It allows for interchangeable coils and usually holds more e-liquid.
